SAN DIEGO, CA – Five Point Capital (FPC) has helped over 15,000 small businesses obtain financing or equipment leasing over the last 12 years. Now—with an expanded slate of financing options to offer—FPC has redesigned its brand and logo to reflect the company’s progression and the empowerment of small business owners looking for access to funding.

The company’s “brand makeover” includes a new logo and tagline that reads “The Power of Capital in Your Hands.” CEO Greg Wells said the new tagline encompasses the company’s product offerings while also signifying the impact that timely financing can have on a small business’ growth and independence.

In response to the “new economy,” the company’s core business has shifted to offer more financing options to small businesses that don’t normally have access to capital.

“I joined FPC with a vision of moving the company beyond being one of the country’s highest volume equipment leasing companies,” said Wells.  “I saw FPC as an organization with more products and services that give more resources to those businesses that aren’t always able to get funding from banks.”

Wells’ outlook on 2011 is bullish, believing that the year will bring a significant increase in the number of business owners looking for capital to support their companies’ growth. Wells backs up his optimism by investing in a new phase of Five Point Capital’s growth as a company including a change in location, hiring additional team members, and the roll-out an enhanced website.

Five Point Capital’s rebranding initiative captures the company’s 12-year evolution from primarily providing small business equipment leasing to offering multiple funding options for businesses that need it the most.

“We view ourselves as more than a source of small business financing,” Wells said. “We’re also business finance consultants to small business owners, and we’re evolving to help our customers evolve.”
