Status: Full-Time, Non Exempt

General Summary:

The core of what we do is build rapport and establish relationships with small business owners across the country that are looking for equipment leasing options to grow their enterprise. Your job is to then convert those warm marketing leads into sales opportunities.

Additionally, interact internally with sales, operations and marketing teams as well as utilize effective communication skills for a solution-oriented approach to financing the equipment needs of small business owners. Use customer relationship management systems like Salesforce.com to track leads and notate communications activities with prospects.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Converting in-bound telephone leads to establish a strong account base of customers.
  • Prospect and evaluate the equipment leasing needs of small business owners; establish creditability with prospects; and manage a finance program that matches their business goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Educate customers on equipment financing solutions.
  • Duties associated with sales-related functions including but not limited to tracking and updating lead activity, follow-up communications with interested prospects, and performing duties with honesty and integrity.

Basic Requirements:

  • 2 -3 years prior sales experience required—specific inside telephone sales experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to deliver seamless coordination of financial deals between clients and vendors.
  • Demonstrative experience in negotiating pricing and fees.
  • Great interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to judge and discern the credibility and worth of potential deals.
  • Organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Outgoing, competitive, and results driven.

  • Ability to persuade and negotiate.
  • Command of verbal and written communication via telephone and email.
  • Ability to learn and utilize information systems.
  • Work effectively in a fast paced, high energy environment.
